No 4 BEHS Taunggyi is said to be the best school in Shan State. Its educational success can be often proved by its students who become awarded for top ten students in the matriculation examination. People might think the school only successful in educating top students. But they're wrong. This school often has the highest percentage of students passing the matriculation exam in the whole Shan State.

  • In 1995, BEHS 4, Taunggyi is awarded as the 3rd best school (for matriculation exam pass rate) in whole Myanmar.

  • 1995 - Ma Naw Show Ei Tun stood 10th in whole country
  • 1998 -
  • 2001 - Ma Thin Zar Oo stood second in whole country and Ma Cho Myat Nwe stood 10th in whole country
  • 2003 - Maung Saw Al Pho Htoo stood 3rd in whole country and Ma Ei Khine Lat stood ninth in the entire Myanmar
  • 2004 - Maung Pyae Phyo Kyaw (2004) achieved the fourth best place in the whole country with 550 marks for science combination. He was the best student that year. Following him was the second best student named Maung Than Htut Soe with 530 marks.
  • 2005 - Maung Ye Min Hein stood first in Shan State (science combination)
