Welcome to MyBEHS.ORG Project, the unofficial profiling of Basic Education High Schools from Myanmar. This site is built up by a reader like you who knows his/her best about his/her BEHS school. You can create account to start writing about your BEHS school. You can refer to starting a new page to create your school's page. Before you attempt to create page for your school, please also read the naming standard. If you are interested, you can be a project co-ordinator to build your respective school project subdomain.

Challenging system administration project for Server Management to build up every single BEHS school homepages. The idea of project subdomain is one of the main goal of MyBEHS.ORG project.
Challenging project for software developers to create different type of community/portal web engine.
Wiki informations to align/exchange with Wikimedia Foundation Projects's Interwiki map (InterWiki)

In Myanmar, there are quite a number of countrywide BEHS schools{digit to comfirm in soon}. Everybody might want to contribute to have his/her related BEHS schools as online webpage for sure. But he/she might has some difficulties or obstacle on building webpage.
By providing this BEHS wiki informations, developer(s) could get familiar with Myanmar High Schools' informations, basic education system and Myanmar students' lives for their networking development. For example: building social networking like Friendster, Myspace, Multiply, etc.

My in short, refer to the first two characters of Myanmar but in computing MM is preferred. But in english, My stands my (adj.) the possessive form of I. There is a first thought of MMBEHS.ORG but then it is better to choose MyBEHS.ORG because it could be best expression for people who contribute this project. BEHS simply stands for Basic Education High School, in fact writing in B.E.H.S, too. MyBEHS.ORG domain is under long ran registration. It is not just pop up in morning and disappear in evening.

MyBEHS.ORG main site is using MediaWiki web application. Wiki application is one of the best solution to exchange the informations through internet.

[edit] Who could write?

Everybody who register the MyBEHS Wiki. Expecting BEHS Alumni, BEHS Current High School Students (8-10 Grade), BEHS Staffs and Teachers. It's not only meant to edit or add your school page. You can also edit on the other school pages or articles. For example: grammar, spelling, usages, etc. Since wiki is taking care of version history in backend, you are no worry to edit. It could revert or revision back to previous session if editing is not necessary to do so.

Current logo is just simple but it has its own meaning. The color Green and White stands for the uniform color of BEHS Students and Teachers. If you want to contribute MyBEHS.ORG logo art work, you are welcome. You can browse the logos at image repository:
